A warm welcome to Middle Barton Primary School

A very warm welcome to Middle Barton School. We are a rural primary school in North Oxfordshire, where our staff, governors, parents and the wider community are committed to providing the best outcomes for our children. We offer a wide and varied curriculum where children are encouraged to explore the world in which they live and to question what they are told, see or hear.  The school gate is opened each morning at 8.30am so children can take part in the morning run. The bell is then rung at 8.40am to signal the start of the school day. The gates are then opened to parents at 3.10pm for the children to be collected (a total of 32.5  hours per week).

We are fortunate enough to have a large site with playing fields, playgrounds, a forest school area and an outdoor eco classroom, transformed from our old swimming pool – one of a kind!

We work very closely with the local Pre-School to ensure a positive transition into our Reception class, and because of this close relationship, we see our children settle in quickly.

We welcome all visitors to our school. So if you would like a tour of the school or to answer any questions you might have, then please call the school office on 01869 340522.
