The Governing Body of Middle Barton Primary School takes its responsibility under section 11 of the Children Act and duties under “working together” to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, very seriously. We work together with other agencies to ensure adequate arrangements exist within our setting to identify, and support those children who are suffering harm or are likely to suffer harm.

Safeguarding Children – what to do if you think a child is at risk of abuse or neglect:

Immediate dangerif you think a child is in immediate danger, call the police on 999.

Online Safety

Children at Middle Barton have access to and use the Internet on a regular basis as part of their learning. It is important to remind children the importance of keeping themselves safe online.
